In observance of the Juneteenth Day holiday, offices at the Government Center, along with the Augusta County libraries and Shenandoah Valley Social Services offices, will be closed on June 19.
Exceptions to the closure include the following:
Augusta Regional Landfill, Convenience Sites, Augusta Water
The landfill and convenience sites will be open on June 19. The Augusta Water offices at the Government Center will also be open. Please call (540) 245-5681 with questions.
Parks and Recreation Facilities
The pool at Stuarts Draft park will be open during normal hours on Juneteenth. Natural Chimneys park and campground, including the pool, will be closed to the public due to the Red Wing Roots Music Festival, which is running all week. The parks and recreation offices at the Government Center will be closed.
