Water and Wastewater
Augusta Water (formerly known as Augusta County Service Authority) provides water and wastewater service to residents of Augusta County. Augusta Water maintains 11 separate water systems, over 412 miles of water mains and approximately 2,093 fire hydrants. Augusta Water provides wastewater collection, conveyance and treatment through four major facilities and five smaller facilities. Augusta Water also operates the Augusta Regional Landfill, providing solid waste and recycling service for residents of Augusta County, the City of Staunton and the City of Waynesboro.
